£90million star ready to join Man United, awaits green light from his club

Manchester United are in the summer transfer window for a new center back after Raphael Varane was allowed to leave on a free transfer.

One player who is now keen to join Man United as Raphael Varane‘s replacement is Everton young defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

Branthwaite impressed at Everton last season and his performance have convinced Man United that he’s a perfect replacement for Varane.

Though United are yet to agreed a transfer fee with Everton, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claimed Branthwaite is eager to secure a move to Man Utd.

The Italian journalist claims that the 21-year-old is not even worried about United’s exclusion from the European Cup.

Romano told GMS:

“I would keep his name in the list of Manchester United, waiting to see what they decided to do – because the player is keen on the move to Manchester United. Personal terms are not an issue at all.”

“So Manchester United know the player is open to joining them, even without Champions League football, but it depends on the clubs.”

Personal terms may not be an issue but agreeing a fee with the Toffees has been a concern for the 20-time English champions, who do not want to pay over the odds.

Reports have indicated that the Goodison Park outfit are asking for a mammoth amount in the region of £90million.

Manchester United has list out sone players that will be allowed to leave on a permanent deal. The likes of Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho are linked to various clubs across the globe.
