Alexander Isak speaks out on his Newcastle future amid Arsenal links

Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak has finally spoken out about his future at the club as he continues to be linked with a summer move to Arsenal.

Isak enjoyed a superb season with 25 goals across all competitions for Newcastle, 21 of those goals came in the Premier League.

The Sweden international form in front of goal has caught the attention of a number of Europe’s top teams, including Mikel Arteta‘s Arsenal, who are keen to land a striker in summer.

Isak who has grown to become an important player in Newcastle has now spoken about future going into the summer transfer window.

Speaking to Swedish outlet Fotballskanalen, he said: ‘I am enjoying myself at Newcastle, and I had the best season in my career — that should not be underestimated.

‘I love everything about the club; the fans, and the city.

‘It (my future) is not something I will speculate about, I have no thoughts on leaving. There has been no talk about it at the club and I have received no information that the could would have to sell me.’

Arsenal were linked with Isak in the January window of 2022 but failed to reach an agreement with Real Sociedad before the Sweden star moved to Newcastle.

Isak is currently Newcastle record signing at £63million and they are eager to him around for quite some time.
