Arsenal reveals price tag for want-away forward linked to West Ham

Arsenal have reportedly place a £50million price tag on Eddie Nketiah who is seeking a move away from Emirates Stadium this summer, according to talkSPORT.

Having failed to nail a starting spot at Arsenal last season, Nketiah is set for a new adventure with Arsenal also willing to bring in a new forward.

According to report from talkSPORT, Crystal Palace have a long-standing interest in the Nketiah, West Ham and Southampton are also looking to add more firepower to their squads this summer.

West Ham are looking to move past the era of Michail Antonio who is currently the only recognized striker in the team.

Despite arriving at the London club with a great reputation, Danny Ings has failed to make any lasting impact since arriving from Aston Villa.

Antonio is currently 34 years old and West Ham new manager Julen Lopetegui believe it’s the right time to make a change. Though they’ve been linked to other players like Tammy Abraham, Nketiah is also being considered.

Nketiah has proven himself in the Premier League but West Ham will be skeptical of Arsenal’s price tag. His lack of minutes for Mikel Arteta’s team should not really warrant the £50million price tag.

If Arsenal refuses to drop their asking price, West Ham might have to look elsewhere. The London club might consider getting a forward on loan rather than on a permanent deal.
