Arsenal to accept £30m bid for midfielder linked to Premier League clubs

Mikel Arteta is set to open the exit door for Emile Smith Rowe who has been linked with a summer move to some Premier League clubs.

Arsenal are prepared to strengthen their squad by bringing in new players and this means some players will be allowed to leave.

A number of names have been linked with exits away from Emirates Stadium and it looks like Emile Smith Rowe will be the first to depart.

Smith Rowe has struggled to make Mikel Arteta’s team after a long term injury. The 23-year-old is now willing to leave the club for a greener pasture.

According to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke, Arsenal have now decided they will ‘accept a bid of £30 million’ if it comes their way for Smith Rowe this summer.

Smith Rowe has been linked with the likes of West Ham United, Brighton and Everton. However, none of the clubs have approach Arsenal.

Recently, it was reported that Fulham are favourite to sign Smith Rowe.

Having made his debut for the club in 2018, Smith Rowe has now played 115 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions, scoring 18 times and registering 13 assists.

The attacking midfielder has spent time on loan at German side RB Leipzig, as well as Football League side Huddersfield Town.

Last term, he played just 19 times across all competitions during an injury-hampered campaign, starting only three Premier League games.

Smith Rowe’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026 and are hoping they xan cash out on him this summer.
