UEFA Champions League: Barcelona star reveals how Mbappe will be stopped

Barcelona defender, Jules Kounde has revealed how Kylian Mbappe will be stopped when the Spanish club face PSG in the UEFA Champions League.

Barcelona will be facing PSG in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final clash on Wednesday with both teams eager to secure a spot in the semi-final.

With Mbappe ranked among the best players in the world, how Barcelona will keep him quiet over the two legs has been the focal point.

Kounde who plays alongside Mbappe in the France national team has now revealed what can be done to stop his countryman.

Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Kounde said: “Mbappe is a differential player. I share a shirt with him in the national team and he’s the one who makes the difference. We are going to try to stop him, we will see how we approach the game with the coach.

“Everyone knows Mbappe. We’ve seen it in videos. The collective has to stand together in front of Kylian.”

Mbappe has been in a sensation form for PSG this season. The Frenchman who has reportedly agree to join Real Madrid after the current season has been scoring for fun.
