Bayern Munich line up summer move for £100m Manchester City star

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Manchester City winger Jack Grealish as he’s set to become the first signing under incoming manager, Vincent Kompany.

Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is expected to become Bayern’s new coach and has apparently wasted no time identifying transfer targets for the summer.

According to reports from The Sun, Kompany has identified Grealish as a player he would love to work with and is eager to bring him to Germany.

Grealish has fallen down Pep Guardiola’s pecking order, starting just 10 of the 29 Premier League games he’s been available for this season.

The England international scored only three goals and contributed three assists this season. Despite his form, Kompany believes he has a future in the Bundesliga.

Reports from the Sun added that Guardiola and City are likely to resist any approach from Bayern for Grealish, who still has three years to run on the six-year deal he agreed in 2021.

Grealish is a popular figure in the City dressing room and was the heart and soul of celebrations after they won a record fourth consecutive Premier League title last weekend.
