Bayern Munich attempted a move to sign Casemiro from Manchester United this summer but opted to cool interest in the Brazil international.
Manchester United are looking to let go of Casemiro after his underwhelming performance for the club last season.
The Premier League giant are eager to take Casemiro off their wage bill. However, Bayern Munich decided not to pursue any deal as they are focused on Joao Palhinha.
According to Trivela, Bayern Munich approached Casemiro over a move but decided to stick to Palhinha.

Palhinha is expected to join Bayern Munich from Fulham in the summer. The player has reportedly agree personal terms and Fulham are willing to do business with Bayern.
At 32, Casemiro wants to continue playing at the highest levels and remains keen to challenge for trophies in Europe.
However, the Brazilian might be forced to rethink his decision. Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly interested in bringing in the former Real Madrid midfielder.
