Bayern Munich’s stance on out-of-favour Arsenal star revealed

Bayern Munich’s stance on signing out-of-favour Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko in the summer transfer window has been revealed.

Zinchenko has been linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium after failing to secure the starting eleven spot under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal splashed out £32m to sign the Ukrainian left-back from Manchester City in 2022 but are willing to offload the 27-year-old after a poor 2023-24 season.

It was earlier reported that Vincent Kompany who was just announced as Bayern Munich coach is willing to make Zinchenko his first signing.

However, a new reports in Germany, though, Zinchenko is not a ‘hot topic of interest’ for Bayern Munich.

Sources close to Zinchenko have also confirmed that a move to Bayern Munich is very unlikely.

Bayern Munich are instead hoping to agree a new deal with their current left-back Alphonso Davies.

Davies is out of contract in 2025 and has attracted interest from Real Madrid but Bayern Munich have recently entered fresh talks with the player’s agent.

There is no agreement at this moment in time but Bayern Munich are open to increasing their salary offer and Kompany is keen to keep Davies at the club.
