Borussia Dortmund to be without key forward for Atletico Madrid visit

Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund will play their second leg UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Atletico Madrid without star forward, Sebastien Haller.

Haller came off the bench to score a vital late goal in Madrid in their UEFA Champions League quarter final first leg but will not be available to play on Tuesday.

Latest update from Diario AS revealed that Haller will miss out on the second leg meeting, after suffering an injury in the 2-1 league weekend win away at rivals Borussia Monchengladbach.

There are reports the African Nations Cup winner could potentially miss the remainder of the season, with Bayer Leverkusen now confirmed as Bundesliga champion.

Despite losing 2-1 in the first leg, Borussia Dortmund are going into the match against Atletico Madrid full of confidence.

Dortmund put in a shift to defeat Borrussia Monchengladbach in their Bundesliga match on Saturday. It was an hard-fought 2-1 victory with Karim Adeyemi sent off.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand defeated Girona 3-1 as they continue to push for a top four finish.
