Jamie Carragher has pleaded with UEFA to stagger their kick-off times following an entertaining start to the 2023/24 Champions League quarter-finals.

The first two quarter-final matches in this seasons Champions League saw Manchester City and Real Madrid produce an epic match.

Both teams played out a 3-3 draw while Arsenal and Bayern Munich played out an entertaining 2-2 at the Emirate stadium.

Jamie Carragher has now revealed how frustrating it is that the games took place simultaneously.

Taking to popular social media platform, X, Jamie Carragher revealed how frustrating it is that fans couldn’t enjoy both matches in their entireity.

“Can we stagger the kick offs in the #ChampionsLeague knockouts please @UEFA?” the Scouse pundit wrote on X.

Both games delivered entertaining moments with Arsenal denied a late penalty call after Bukayo Saka was brought down by Manuel Neuer, while Thomas Tuchel was left frustrated that Gabriel’s handball in the Arsenal box was not punished.

Manchester City and Real Madrid match provided epic moments with both teams showing their attacking abilities.
