Chelsea, Arsenal on high alert as Eberechi Eze release clause is revealed

Eberechi Eze is currently targeted by the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal as they hope to add the Crystal Palace midfielder to their list of players.

The Crystal Palace midfielder was one of the standout performers in a stellar campaign for the Eagles as a whole, grabbing 15 goal involvements in just 27 appearances.

Eze’s performance has seen him named in England squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.

The England international has now been revealed, a move that will please clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, it has been revealed that Eze has a £60 million release clause written into his contract, with a further £8 million in potential add-ons.

it is unclear when this clause becomes active, or whether it is only available to certain teams. However, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United will be eager to tempt Crystal Palace with an offer this summer.

Eze was linked with a move to Manchester City but it failed to materialise in 2023, instead Pep Guardiola opted for Wolves’ Matheus Nunes.

His performance at the Euro 2024 is likely to spark a new contest between suitors in the Premier League and Crystal Palace might be forced to make a huge decision.
