Chelsea make transfer enquiry for Man Utd, Arsenal, Bayern top target

Chelsea have contacted Premier League side Crystal Palace over opening talks with Michael Olise for a £60million summer transfer.

Olise has been linked to Chelsea throughout last summer, but the 22-year-old ended up signing a new deal and staying at Palace. However, the blues are back with an improved offer.

According to multiple reports, Chelsea are prepared to meet Olise’s release clause, which is understood to have a complex structure and could rise above £60m.

Newcastle, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are also thought to hold strong interest in Olise, with both Manchester United and Man City also tracking the former Chelsea academy talent.

However, Chelsea are eager to take the Olise off the transfer market by agreeing a transfer fee with Crystal Palace.

Though Palace might not be willing to sell their star player, they will have no choice when Chelsea decides to pay Olise release clause and the player is willing to make the move.

Olise struck 10 goals and laid on six assists in just 14 Premier League starts for Palace in the 2023-24 season, thriving in Oliver Glasner’s rejuvenated Eagles team.

Chelsea have already announce the signature of Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham. The young defender becomes the first signing of Enzo Maresca era.
