Chelsea to make decision on 20-year-old future amidst interest from European clubs

Chelsea are preparing to make their final decision on the future of Omari Hutchinson who excelled at during his recent loan spell at Ipswich Town.

Hutchinson spent the entire 2023/24 season on loan at Ipswich Town and helped them secure automatic promotion to the Premier League. The youngster scored 10 goals and assisted five as Ipswich returned to the Premier League for the first time in 28 years.

His good form has attracted teams across Europe Chelsea have already summoned him to return for pre-season for them to take a close look at him before making a call.

With Chelsea set to start the new season under a new manager after Mauricio Pochettino was shown the exit door, the London club are awaiting the new manager’s decision before sanctioning any transfer deals.

According to a report in the DailyMirror, Bundesliga club Stuttgart are one of the clubs eager to sign Hutchinson this summer.

The Bundesliga side believe they are capable os sorting out a deal with Chelsea as the with reports that they are looking to sell some players for pure profits before they can bring in players.

In the last two transfer windows, Chelsea spent almost £1billion and are looking to stay in line with the Premier League’s sustainability rules. It’s left to see if Hutchinson will be allowed to leave on a permanent deal or another loan move will be sanctioned.
