Chelsea to offer £77m players-plus-cash for Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has now been identified as the main man in Stamford Bridge. According to reports from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea have now made initial contact with Napoli for Osimhen.

When discussing PSG’s interest in the forward, he wrote: ‘Not just PSG on Victor Osimhen, there have also been initial contacts with Chelsea.’

He noted that Chelsea are trying to understand the feasibility of the deal with Osimhen available for between 68 and 77 million.

However, Napoli have some demands. The Seria A side are demanding the inclusion of two players which include Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is currently on loan at Roma after failing to impress in his second spell at Chelsea.  Napoli are also keen to take a ‘young player’ from Chelsea.

Di Marzio added that  Lukaku is a target of Napoli’s next sporting director Giovanni Manna, who also tried to sign him for Juventus.
