Feyenoord star shares future plan amidst interest from Liverpool, Arsenal

Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow has shared new updates about his future as he continues to be link with a summer move to Liverpool and Arsenal.

It was reported earlier this month that Liverpool are interested in Bijlow and are hoping he’ll follow the footsteps of manager Arne Slot in joining the Premier League side.

However, the Reds face a stiff competition from Arsenal who are also willing to have at Emirates Stadium with Aaron Ramsdale set to leave the club this summer.

Both clubs have now been handed a huge boost as Bijilow admitted he is open to joining a new club this summer.

Bijlow has left the door open to a move away from Feyenoord and spoke about his future plans during a recent interview.

“Will I stay at Feyenoord? You never know, do you? That’s football,” he told Voetbalzone. “You never know that.

“I’m ambitious, I’ve always said that. If the opportunity presents itself and a good club comes from abroad, I am open to it. I’ve always said that. As long as I am under contract with Feyenoord, that is never a punishment and I will give everything as long as I play there.”

Asked specifically about interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, Bijlow added: “Those are two very nice clubs. Of course it is always nice to be mentioned at big clubs. As I said, I’m ambitious. As long as I play for Feyenoord I will give everything for that and first I just want to focus on the Dutch team.”

Bijilow was linked with a move to Manchester United last summer but the Feyenoord star opted to stay for another year while United switched their attention to Andre Onana.

Liverpool are favourite to sign Bijilow with manager Arne Slot, who handed the goalkeeper 93 appearances during their time together set to convince him towards making the move.
