Juventus closes in on Man United outcast, set sight on Aston Villa star

Italian giant Juventus have reportedly reach an agreement with Mason Greenwood over his transfer from Manchester United.

Greenwood spent 2023/24 season on loan at Getafe following his short spell away from football. The young forward proved he’s still a force to reckon with, putting up impressive performances in the Spanish league.

Despite his successful loan spell, Greenwood is expected to be among those that will be shipped out of Old Trafford and Juventus are interested.

According to Sky Italia, Juventus have reach an agreement with Greenwood and are left with talking to the Manchester United about their price tag.

Reports claim Manchester United current valuation of Greenwood stands at €50m but they may be forced to reduce that fee.

Juventus are also interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. Multiple sources are confident that the basic deal is done.

Douglas Luiz will join Juve for €18-20m cash plus ownership of Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior, two players who were both one year off the end of their contracts in Turin.

Juventus will also have to sanction the sale of Federico Chiesa or Matias Soule so as to raise fund as well as create space in the team for the new arrivals.
