‘I would vote to scrap VAR’: Klopp reveals his dissatisfaction with VAR

As Premier League clubs continue to debate over the usage of Video Assistant Refree (VAR) in the league, Jurgen Klopp has voiced out his dissatisfaction over the technology.

Premier League clubs will be voting if the technology should remain in the Premier League next season after Wolves submitted a motion that it should not be used again.

Jurgen Klopp while speaking at his last press conference as a Liverpool manager insisted that he would vote to scrap VAR because he does not trust those responsible for making it work.

According to Klopp, officials making use of the technology are not competent enough and this will bring more crisis and controversies.

“I’m not sure not they are voting against VAR, I think they are voting against how VAR gets used because that is definitely not right,” said Klopp.

“I understand that in the way they do it, I would vote against it because these people are not able to use it properly. I don’t think VAR is the problem but the way they use it is the problem. You cannot change the people obviously. That is clear, so I would say I would vote for scrapping VAR.”

Klopp will be leading his team out at Anfield for the last time and he’ll be eager to end on the victorious side against a wounded Wolves.
