Leroy Sane to decide his Bayern Munich future after Euro 2024

Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane will make a concrete decision on his future after the Euros as the club is pushing for a new contract.

Sane endured a difficult 2023/24 season with Bayern Munich as the club failed to win any trophies, a move that saw manager Thomas Tuchel leave after the season.

The Bayern star was injured in the latter parts of the season but has since joined the German camp to start preparations for next month’s European Championship.

Expected to feature in the starting XI for Germany at the tournament, Sane will decide his Bayern Munich future after Euro 2024.

According to Sky Sports in Germany, Sane will resolve his future at Bayern after the European Championship. The Bavarian club will hold concrete talks over a new deal with Sane once he returns from the German team.

With just 12 months left on the Germany international contract, Bayern and Max Eberl held preliminary talks with Sane at the end of April.

Sane is settled at Bayern and wants to stay in Munich. Working out a new deal with Bayer Munich won’t be an issue with both parties boosting a good relationship.

Despite the departure of Thomas Tuchel, Sane will be willing to work with Bayern Munich new coach who has been tipped to be Vincent Kompany.

Vincent Kompany has played with Sane at Manchester City in the past. The Belgian coach should be eager to work with him again when he takes over at Bayern in the next few days.
