Man Utd players expecting Erik ten Hag to be sacked, delay decisions on their futures

Erik ten Hag

According to reports, some Manchester United players are delaying decisions on their futures due to uncertainty over Erik ten Hag’s future at the club

Manchester United are currently struggling in the Premier League, failing to seal off games against teams they are expected to win.

The red devils are languishing in seventh spot, ten points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are in fifth place.

Latest reports have now confirmed that a number of United players are convinced Ten Hag will not remain in charge beyond the current season.

Seven senior players are out of contract in the summer while some players will be shipped out to allow new signings.

Erik ten Hag’s team have won one of their past seven league games. The red devils were lucky to draw their last match against Bournemouth with the match ending 2-2.

United’s plight is so severe they have four points fewer than they had at the same stage under David Moyes in 2013-14 – their worst season in the Premier League era.

Ten Hag was appointed by United two years ago and there are rumors the club new co-owner are thinking of looking for a replacement.

United new co-owner Ratcliffe has declined to give public assurances and it’s left to be seen if Ten Hag will be asked to go after the season.
