Manchester United are reportedly determined to sign Boca Juniors star Aaron Anselmino ahead of this summer’s transfer window with Chelsea also interested in the youngster.

19-year-old Aaron Anselmino has now been identified as the perfect replacement for outgoing Raphael Varane. The former Real Madrid star confirmed he’d be leaving Old Trafford after a four-year stint following this weekend’s FA Cup final.
There are indications Jonny Evans will follow suit with the 36-year-old defender yet to renew his contract.
With Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire struggling to stay fit, United are willing to bring in a new center back.
Anselmino reportedly has a £21m release clause in his contract, according to Argentinian outlet Planeta Boca, and with United set to begin prioritising their ageing defensive unit this summer, the centre-back could be a real gem.
Chelsea are also interested in the youngster but United are likely to win this battle due to their urgent need. Anselmino has mainly been on the bench for the Liga Profesional side this season but has given a glimpse of what he has to offer when given the chance.
