Real Madrid wave goodbye to youngster as Las Palmas secures his signature

Real Madrid are currently one of the busiest clubs in the summer transfer window as they wave goodbye to one of their prolific youngsters.

The Spanish giant have acquired the signature of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain and are expected to unveil the Frenchman after Euro 2024.

Kylian Mbappe will be joined by Brazilian young forward Endrick. The arrival of both superstars means some young players will be allowed to leave.

Las Palmas have now announced the permanent signing of Marvin Park, an exciting young defender tipped for greatness.

Marvin had spent the last two seasons on loan at Las Palmas, and he featured 32 times during the 2023-24 campaign, usually as a right-back or right winger.

Las Palmas confirmed on Thursday that they have exercised the buy option in their loan agreement with Real Madrid. It means that Marvin is remaining on a permanent basis, and he has signed a four-year contract.

Though Madrid are unlikely to earn huge transfer fee from the deal, however, the fee will help in their bid to build the bank balance ahead of the summer transfer window opening.

Real Madrid are likely to spend that fee on Leny Yoro, who appears to be their top target at this stage. The Spanish side are competing with the likes of PSG, Liverpool and Man United for Yoro.

The Spanish giant are currently accumulating transfer fees from players surplus to requirement.

Real Madrid are projected to earn an estimated €15m from the sales of Rafa Marin and Alex Jimenez, who will be bought by Napoli and AC Milan respectively, and that total has been added to by Las Palmas fee for Marvin Park.
