‘Beautiful challenge’: Saka shares verdict on Arsenal, Man City title challenge

Arsenal forward, Bukayo Saka has insisted that his teammates are ready for the Premier League title race with Man City, noting that they are not getting frustrated.

The London club currently occupy first spot on the log with only a point while Manchester City occupy the second spot with a game at hand.

With two games left to play, Arsenal are hoping Manchester City will slip up as this will give them an edge going into the final games of the season.

Saka who has been instrumental for Arsenal all season has now shared his thoughts on the title race, noting that it’s a beautiful challenge.

“You can see it in two ways,” said Saka. “You can either view it as frustrating or as a beautiful challenge. Everybody knows [City] are one of the best teams in the world, they have been on the top for the past five years, challenging for everything.

“So, for ourselves to be up there competing with them is good. We are pushing them the whole way and let’s see what happens.

“But we’re not getting frustrated, we see it as a challenge that we want to fight until the end. They have set a standard and it’s up to the rest of us to try to be better than them.”

Saka has scored 20 times in a season for the first time in his career and will be eager to continue that good form when Arsenal head head to Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsenal have dropped five points and lost just once in the Premier League this year and are not looking like a team ready to lose anytime soon.
