Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has claimed he would rather manage Tottenham Hotspur than Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are ranked among the biggest clubs in the world of football and it’s a dream of all managers to be on their dugout.

However, Sandro has revealed his dream to coach Tottenham Hotspur and not Spanish giants, Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Speaking to Gianluca Di Marzio, the now 35-year-old speaking about his future aspirations as a coach said:

“My dream is not to coach Barcelona or Real Madrid but Tottenham,” Sandro stated.

“I’m only 35 years old and have a lot of time ahead of me. I am aware that I have to work my way up first. But my goal is the Tottenham bench, which I consider the best club in London.

“Just look at what Daniel Levy has done over the years, building the new training center and stadium. The club fights every year to enter the Champions League.

“Tottenham lacks nothing and now year after year they will build an increasingly competitive team.”

Sandro enjoyed a fruitful career as a player. He played for the likes of Queen Park Rangers, Antalyaspor, Benevento, Udinese, Udinese.

He also had a stint at Goias and B SAD, Sandro’s path was one of constant movement and adaptation. However, it was at Tottenham Hotspur he enjoyed huge success.

Sandro spent four years in Tottenham, making 106 apperaances, his most for a single club.
