Tottenham to consider bids for Richarlison amidst interest from Saudi clubs

Richarlison

Tottenham Hotspur will consider bids for Richarlison this summer with some Saudi Arabia clubs willing to convince the Brazilian forward.

Richarlison has been forced to answer questions about his future in the past few days and has insisted that he will not leave England.

The Brazilian forward earlier this week dismissed suggestions he is in talks with other clubs as “fake news” and insisted he has never said he is unhappy at Spurs.

Despite this, the Brazilian remains among the players Spurs are prepared to sell for the right price. Ange Postecoglou is willing to build an new team and Richarlison might not be part of it.

Richarlison has attracted interest from more than one of Saudi Arabia’s state-backed clubs, who would be able to meet Tottenham Hotspur’s £60million asking price.

Spurs are also willing to offload Richarlison’s compatriot Emerson Royal, who has attracted interest from AC Milan and Saudi clubs.

Players who are also likely to leave this summer are Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso. Both players have entered the final year of their contracts, are set to move on along with Bryan Gil.

Returning loanees Joe Rodon, Djed Spence, Sergio Reguilon, Tanguy Ndombele and Japhet Tanganga are also not part of Postecoglou’s plans.

Tottenham are ready to listen to suitable offers for these players with Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon also expected to leave Spurs on a free transfer.
