Zinedine Zidane urges Real Madrid to sign Man United, Liverpool top target

Despite announcing the arrival of Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid, the Spanish giant are still linked with various players across the globe.

Topping the list of players linked to Real Madrid is 18-year-old LOSC Lille centre-back Leny Yoro, who has also been linked to Manchester United and Liverpool.

According to a report by Liverpool Echo, Leny Yoro is the subject of interest from Liverpool with the Reds keen on signing a centre-back in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are also looking for Raphael Varane’s replacement and has identified Yoro as a perfect fit for the squad.

However, former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has urged the Spanish club to sign the 18-year-old LOSC Lille defender.

Real Madrid are seeking a perfect replacement for Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba who are on the wrong side of 30. The Spanish giant will also be without Nacho who has left the club to pursue a stint in Saudi Arabia.

Yoro was a mainstay at the back for Lille in the 2023/24 season, turning out 44 times while chipping in with three goals and amassing more than 3,500 minutes of game time.

His impressive form has seen him represent France’s under-23 team having made his first-team debut for LOSC Lille as a 16-year-old.

He has been tipped to receive a call-up to the national team after EURO 2024 and a move to Real Madrid will raise his profile in the national team.
